アーティストが一定期間（数週間から数ヶ月）学校に通い、空き教室などの学校の余剰空間をアトリエとして活用しながら創作活動を行う「アーティスト・イン・スクール」。今年度で建て替えとなる校舎全体を使い、集合写真や運動会をテーマにしたビデオインスタレーションを展示した。
Artists in Schools are artists who attend schools for a certain period of time (from a few weeks to several months) and use the school's surplus space, such as empty classrooms, as studios to carry out their creative activities. At the school building, which will be rebuilt this school year, I made the video installations themed group photos and sports day were exhibited.

故郷豊頃町で30年前のタイムカプセルが開扉されました。全く覚えの無い10歳の私の作文や、懐かしい人々の息吹が甦るビデオテープから、奇妙な時代を生きる現在の私を励ますように記憶が再構築される。
A time capsule from 30 years ago was opened in my hometown of Toyokoro. Memories are reconstructed from my essay at the age of 10, which I do not remember at all, and videotapes that bring back the breath of nostalgic people, encouraging me to live in the present, a strange time.

故郷豊頃町で30年前のタイムカプセルが開扉されました。全く覚えの無い10歳の私の作文や、懐かしい人々の息吹が甦るビデオテープから、奇妙な時代を生きる現在の私を励ますように記憶が再構築される。
A time capsule from 30 years ago was opened in my hometown of Toyokoro. Memories are reconstructed from my essay at the age of 10, which I do not remember at all, and videotapes that bring back the breath of nostalgic people, encouraging me to live in the present, a strange time.

北海道大学総合博物館にて展示。1965年に、気象学の研究者が飛行機から撮影した雲の映像を元に制作。見下ろしているのか、見上げているのか、過去と現在を行き来する普遍的な雲という存在。インターバル撮影により視覚化された雲の滑らかな動き。これは「作品」なのか「資料」なのかという試み。
Exhibited at the Hokkaido University Museum, this work is based on images of clouds taken from an airplane by a meteorology researcher in 1965. Whether looking down or looking up, the universal existence of clouds moves back and forth between the past and present. The smooth movement of clouds visualized by interval photography. This is an attempt to determine whether this is a "work of art" or a "document".

Pictorial Family History
2015 video installation
人は人生で何枚の写真に刻み込まれるのだろう。
祖父母、父母、私、息子の写真を集め、それぞれの人生の長さに比例した長さの映像をループ再生するインスタレーション。
How many photos do people take in their lifetime? I gathered portraits of my grandparents, parents, myself and my son and segued them into animated clips. Each animated clip is proportional to the length of the respective person's life. This installation plays an infinite loop.

人は人生で何枚の写真に刻み込まれるのだろう。
祖父母、父母、私、息子の写真を集め、それぞれの人生の長さに比例した長さの映像をループ再生するインスタレーション。
How many photos do people take in their lifetime? I gathered portraits of my grandparents, parents, myself and my son and segued them into animated clips. Each animated clip is proportional to the length of the respective person's life. This installation plays an infinite loop.
